JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

Aichi-Ken--The Department of British and American Studies at Nanzan University
is seeking a fulltime, tenure-track professor of English as
a foreign language.
Qualifications: PhD in TEFL or applied linguistics, presently holding the rank of
professor at a university; experience in graduate program instruction; publication
of two books or equivalent; Japanese language ability.
Duties: teach graduate level courses in TEFL methodology; teach undergraduate courses
in English langauge; participate in the university's entrance examination system.
Duties may include teaching an undergraduate seminar in TEFL methodology and coordinating
English-language instruction programs.
Salary & Benefits: Salary to be determined according to university pay scales;
research allowance; library allowance.
