I’m typing this on the run, so apologies for errors. The Japan Times November 30 2007, page 3, on the left side just above the fold is reporting as follows: “Cities Call for National registry of Foreign Residents” Citing the need to “provide services” to people who move to a new location, the chair Mr. Watanabe “demanded the creation of a common national foreign resident registry.” Please read the JT for the full article.
Looks like Big Brother is not wasting any time. One week it’s fingerprint the foreigners. Less than 6 days later, it’s “Let’s put them all on one list!” so we can “provide better services to them.”
Yeah, right!
–THANKS 1TT. I’M OUT THE DOOR FOR THE DAY, SO SOMEBODY PLEASE SEND US THE FULL TEXT AND LINK OF THE ARTICLE, IF NOT TYPE IT IN? THANKS. DEBITO
