Congratulations Doctor!
おめでとうございます、出人さん!
Congrats!
Do you get to keep the hat? 😉
— Yes. And the robe and the hood.
Congratulations, well done!
Looking good Dr. Debito! Congratulations!
Great, congratulations for all the hard work you have done. We are all proud of you! By the way, when is your dissertation coming out in book form that we can purchase and read??
— Thanks for asking. As soon as possible from my publisher. These things take time.
WHOOOP!
I mean, congratulations!
I know what it takes….so well done. Persistence pays off 🙂
Félicitations !
Hi Debito:
This is fantastic.
IMO, NJ who have made noteworthy contributions in Japanese society need visibility and recognition.
Personally, I think it would be great to have a section of debito.org devoted to this purpose (fictional examples: Karl Tanaka – certified NJ shinkansen driver March 2016, Markus Ito – certified NJ police inspector September 2015, etc). Think of this as the opposite of the Rogues’ Gallery.
That said, I don’t know if you want your site to assume the additional function of a clearinghouse for this sort of information.
Regards,
-JK
Congratulations!
Congratulations!
Any chance that your thesis will be available online as a pdf? I do not know about the social sciences, but in computer science it was common for everyone to publish it freely on graduation (and so did I)…
— Book first.
Congrats to Dr. Debito! That must of been a tough journey
Congratulations, Debito!
Congratulations! You’ve certainly earned it.
